Street Art Trail

For the last fortnight, a series of artworks by local artists have been on display around the local area. They portray aspects of the local area that are important to the artist, incorporated into the design of various classic Clarks' shoes, as Clarks HQ has been central to the life of the village since the 1800s.

This one, in the window of the local independent department store, is by Marion Bayliss who, as she explains, has chosen the local outdoor pool as her subject. As we were there this morning for a relaxing wallow after the park run, it seemed a good day to blip it.

I was pleased to get under 30 minutes for the first time today at the park run. Just about had the energy to cut the grass this afternoon before collapsing in front of the tele to watch the FA Cup Final. Man City really are an impressive team and you had to feel sorry for Watford who didn't deserve to lose so heavily.
