Ornaments

I love these ornaments that decorate the counter at a restaurant we visit.  They are porcelain but his hat and her veil are silk.

A quiet couple of days.  Hubby took the car for serving yesterday, that took up most of the day.   I relaxed with my book at home.  

The day before we had the air conditioning cleaned and serviced.   The guy and his wife who clean it brought their young daughter with them.  We said we knew that she was the real boss.  She is about 8 and when dad translated what we had said she thought it was very funny.  They got her to tell us her name and say that she was the boss.  She is a very sweet well behaved child.

It's starting to cool down a bit and the pollution is definetly clearing.  We will soon be able to go for a drive in the mountains.
