A trip of Dotterel

Breakfast served outside to our Airbnb guests - a first.
On then to North Bay for a beach amble before heading for home.
Word reached me of this trip of five Dotterel up on North Uist and so of I trotted and they were showing really well- as well as being stunning birds. Somewhat unusually in birds, it is the females that are the brighter coloured of the species.
Home then and dinner for J&D and A whilst welcoming our new Airbnb guest arriving on his motorbike, a police dog-trainer and so much chat about what should be done with Ruadh.
