Short-toed Eagle

See one of these in the UK and I would be jumping up and down. Here therre are plenty of them but they are still big enough to always be impressive. The locals call them Aigle de Serpent and their is a pair over and around the house every summer.
Exciting day today as it was our Lidl shopping day down in the valley. Even got as far as Aubenas before we felt we were too far away from home.
Visited a Scottish friend on the way back as well as dropping into the village bar to look at, of all things, a couple of hats for Tricia to wear to Ben's wedding.
