Trade Deals

I have a friend back in Dumfries and Galloway who is an artist and paints stunning pictures of the surrounding area and makes the most beautiful fabric prints which she then turns into lamp shades and other things. Last year we made a deal that I could have one of her lamps in exchange for me making her a tote bag from her printed scraps. She said there was no rush; just as well as after that we sold our house and moved down here (Yorkshire) and spent 6 months doing up the house so I had no time for creativity. 
Anyway now I have the time and I'm looking forward to making Sarah's bag :-)
