Saigon

After 12 hours in the air, and too long before that in Gatwick, Saigon was a shock to the senses.

The roads are a constant chaotic flow of mopeds with taxis and vans trying to work their way in between with the aid of their horns. I never realised one moped can take a family of four around a city.

The pavements are just as chaotic and colourful. We saw one lady selling street food while also filing her toe nails.

A very crazy but beautiful place.

After meeting our fellow travellers, hearing more about our trip and sharing a meal. Niall and I sat outside on the roof terrace and listened to the sounds of the street below. I could have sat there for hours but sleep was needed.
