Centenary

Today would have been my mother’s 100th birthday. My guess is that this photo was taken in the mid 1950’s (before I was born!) We have quite a few old family photos although I do wish they had been dated - don’t we all have that problem?Unlike my father she did manage a couple of trips to Shetland in the 80’s although during one of them, which would have been around this time of year, it was foggy the whole time. All these years later I still find myself influenced by my parents views of life which I think is a good thing in this instance.
