BIRTHDAY BOY!

I took this yesterday and think it is utterly lovely.  It's his birthday today, so of course it just had to be a picture of him - but I didn't quite manage to get one of him, so it's a kind of cheat. 

This is from yesterday when we were at a National Trust house.  I had raced around the house with the youngest (when you're 2, you're not really interested in a National Trust house), and had spent rather a long time waiting for the others who had given the place the time needed to enjoy it to the full).  We finally all found each other.  The eldest was utterly in his element taking the hands of his grandmother and my aunt (sh'e not my aunt, I'm just not actually sure what she is - my mothers cousins wife). 


Anyway, back to today.  The birthday boy has seen lots of family, then back home to spend the afternoon in the garden with his new gardening things and a birthday braai. Happy birthday my darling 4 year old.
