Church this morning, managed to get everyone ready without too much fuss.
Lovely day so after lunch the boys took bkie and scooter and grand-d was in her buggy and we went to visit some ponds on the edge of the golf-course. Met this butterfly on the way and also an orange tip that didn't stop long enough to have a pic taken. In the ponds were: a pair of swans with 8 cygnets, a single swan on a nest, a moorhen with 3 chicks, a coot with 3 chicks and 1000's of tadpoles. The extra is of a few but the edges of the pond a bit further along were black with them.
Back at the house I started making the tea and then had a short run, slightly less breathless than Friday but still hard work.
Now the children are in bed, a load of washing is on and Mr Rat is making a cuppa.
