Good View

Nellie of the Woods came round for a coffee - two cups of coffee, one piece of homemade marmalade cake and 2 hours later we'd analysed my reluctance to get involved in the social life of the village again! I've decided not to overthink it any more and just accept that when I feel ready I will naturally pick it up again, or not!
Oscar and I went to a lovely village to pick up a tressle table which will be very useful if I do get my act together and sell my clothes at the village Fun Day nellie and Barry are organising. Then we stopped at Hingston Down for a walk. It's a funny barren area due to the mining, lots of shale and heather! But stunning view looking over Plymouth. You can see the Tamar River and the Plymouth sound, and to the right of the big tree you can make out the Tamar Bridge and Brunels Royal Albert railway Bridge, marking the border between Devon and Cornwall.
Once home I phoned the Dr for the results of the tests I'd had done Monday. All clear! I have to say I was a bit disappointed that I am not gluten intolerant - it would be so easy just to cut it out of my diet. So back to the Fodmaps and an appointment in June where I will ask if I can see a dietician and also what I can take if the stomach cramps continue  despite the Mebeverine tablets I am on. Hopefully the knowledge that it is " just " IBS will see my anxiety lessen and hopefully so too the IBS!
