Beauty is all around us.

Family fun and Christmas food.

I got up early, well 9:15, made Quaker oats and a cup of tea. It was rainy and the wind quite powerful. Arthur had his breakfast and scampered back to his favourite box.
Paul, Maria and me had put together our Christmas shopping list and while I went to Christian Fellowship, Paul went to Tesco.
He has gained several gold stars for his tremendous efforts shopping for us in a crowded supermarket. I have included a few favourite food items in this blip! Christmas pudding and a do- it- yourself Christmas pudding ice cream, gold coins and mince pies. We do our best to support the Church Food Bank as well.
We visited my son Greg and his family in the afternoon.
That's Greg in the centre photo with their family cat George, who is a wild at heart animal.
The Grandsons were very high spirited, and one photo is of Tyler opening today's Advent window. He was super excited and wanted to open presents straight away. Greg persuaded him to wait.
We played a game and watched The Borrowers film.
Home again, drying clothes, knitting and waiting to watch how the new Snowman and Snow dog film was made. Maria is making revision cards for her A level exams in January.
She needs 2 As and a B for York so she is going all out to get this result.
Drinking tea and watching First Knight, one of my favourite versions with Richard Gere and Sean Connery.
Keep warm and enjoy the Eve of Christmas Eve.
