Sharon, Kerry and Caroline.
After shopping in Blackburn in the morning and paying off some bills, and seeing an enormous inflatable snowman outside the Town Hall where children were having a great time jumping about, we returned home for some lunch and to feed Arthur.
He is a little restless as this is not nice weather for a pussycat.
He has found a new place to curl up on top of the big decorations box which is ideal for him, quiet and cosy, at the top of the stairs. He only appears at meal times!
The weather has been cold, damp, drizzly and dull, but that was not going to stop me enjoying a second Christmas shopping session in the Accrington Arndale Centre and the lovely Victorian market.
I was buying gifts for Paul and Maria, but also treated myself to a cream and green paisley shawl which is added warmth for my shoulders which have been aching recently. Must be all this damp weather.
Then off to One Planet party, for those who survived the end of the world (according to the Mayan calendar !)
There was mulled wine and lovely cakes and these three lovelies let me photo them for blip.
Sharon volunteers, Kerry and Caroline are Directors and all three work hard to make the shop the success it is.
Come visit One Planet shop, 54 Abbey Street, if you are in Accrington.
