Islay and Jura from Westport

Day off and what a beautiful sunny day to have off :-)
Headed to Westport and had a long walk along the beach as far as the seat by the golf course at Machrihanish Dunes,where we had a seat for a while before heading back.
It was as clear as it has been for ages. We could clearly see Rathlin island, Islay, Jura, Gigha, and beyond to the North.
We went for lunch at Glenbarr in good time to get an outside table.
After lunch we bought two Broom plants and three big bags of compost then set off for home.
We then cleared out the small bed we have at one side of the garden and planted the Brooms and a couple of other plants we had in pots.
