Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Grocery shopping over and as it was dry if a little overcast we headed out :-)
We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There were some seals on the rocks at Kiel. A few Gannets were flying along Carskey Bay, occasionally diving. There were a few Ringed Plovers on the beach, and we saw a Shelduck on one of the little beaches along from Kiel and the way home.
We walked along to the far end of the beach and back without seeing a soul despite this being a holiday weekend.
Spotted this large seal sunning itself at Kiel.
The bluebells are still looking lovely and I love seeing the carpets of blue in the the little woodland areas.
Later I spend some time pottering in the garden :-)
