Popped Poppy

So freshly popped that part of the bud is still there.

The colour of this is - to my mind - just beautiful.

It was definitely the Day Of The Poppies.  Maybe they have a secret WhatsApp group, whatever it was they are everywhere at the minute and I love 'em.

G managed to get on to a plane to Cardiff last night (it's a LONG story) and is currently enjoying Devon.  KLM's idea was to fly her to Dublin this morning (be at the airport for 5...) and then let her wait there for a flight to Bristol.  I'm too stupid to understand why this is clever and/or providing some sort of good customer service.

Anyway - I hope you're having fun Liebe G.  The cats and I miss you.
