Fire In The Valley
We had driven to Bindoon to the award winning bakery there, we had wall to wall blue sky the whole way, it was just lovely, on our return however the skies soon turned from blue to charcoal grey as the smoke drifted across the hills and down into the valley, the smoke was due to a controlled burn in Julimar Forrest, this is the best time to do the burning off of leaf litter to try to eliminate the wild fires in the coming summer months, however the smoke stayed with us all the way to the coast.
As the sun was going down we could see with the amount of smoke still hanging around we were going to get a really good sunset, we drove down to Quinns for a better chance of seeing the sun set over the ocean, we were not disappointed.
A few extras tonight, i thought i had a good blip for today when we first spotted the smoke, i was wrong! i ended up with quite a few to chose from, hard to know which is the best? you decide :-))
