Fungi hunt.....
......I met mpp26 for my very first fungi hunt. It was sooo exciting, challenging and fascinating.
A cheeky fantail greeted us on our arrival, twittering and flitting, here one minute gone the next. Heavy rain overnight left the bush glistening with droplets in shafts of light, so pretty. The fungi were tiny! Took me a while to get my eye in and spot them but when I did I was away. Most of them were dirty and I had forgotten to take a brush, nevermind, I quite like the natural look with some of the forest floor coming through.
There's a few extras:
1. The same fungi as my main blip showing the top side, reminded me of bubbles.
2. These tiny beauties reminded me of wigs on a stand.
3, 4, 5, just some of my favourite ones, I was tempted to clean the last one but in the end left it as is.
Unfortunately I have very little knowledge regarding fungi so if anyone can help out with any names it would be appreciated.
I had a wonderful morning, thanks M for taking me, such an amazing experience.
It's been a very warm day, our local town of Rangiora grabbed the top temperature for Canterbury, 24C.
Hope you all enjoy a lovely weekend - Happy Friday :)
