Cruising

From the end of the inner breakwater in Fishguard Harbour, the dog and I could see the latest cruise ship to visit. This trade has undergone a major revival in recent years, with tourists disembarking for a quick tour of the local area. Most go straight off to St Davids and other highlights, but some are persuaded to explore the charms of our twin towns. Just after this I was asked by a woman with an alarmingly fake-sounding East European accent to take a photo of her and her male companion, with the liner in the background and the dog out of sight.

Personally, I can't think of a worse way to take a holiday. I'd rather spend a week in the toilet.
