home alone

It's just Jess and me tonight - D has gone up to Edinburgh to fetch Luke home. He will be here for the weekend and then off to his second home at Frost Valley YMCA, this year working as a camp counsellor.

When I arrived home from work, I walked around the garden with my camera and quickly realised that I still had the extension tube on the lens, so had a look at some flowers and leaves. The DOF is very narrow and the lens glass is almost touching the subject so focussing is tricky but I had some fun playing around.

The cold wind has gone and it felt really nice out doors for a change. I had to force myself to go in for tea :-)
