Not a dinky toy

It was very wet when we woke and Alan rang to say not to walk out to meet him. He got really soaked yesterday, and thought we may as well just meet him in the pub tonight.

I was about to start my knitting when I found one needle had not found its way into the van with the rest. Thanks to google I found a shop in Leyburn. We needed some fruit from the Co-op so got that and some second hand needles in return for a donation to air ambulance. As the car park was full we went down to Tennants where there is s kind of auction house and some posh shops. They are having a sale of classic cars. This was s modest one compared with a huge Bentley.

Now we are in Reeth about to meet Alan, last seen in Uzbekistan. Lots of travel stories to exchange tonight.
