Led by the labels

Shopping in Ambleside for summer clothes for a holiday, I spent so much time checking the labels for details of the fabric, where it was made, what the size meant etc that I nearly forgot why it was I needed anything new (i.e. not available in a charity shop). For the record, the trousers are Craghoppers who are members of the Ethical Trading Initiative, and 25% of the price of the dress from Epicentre is apparently donated to the Sherpa Adventure Gear Fund to provide a brighter future for the children of Nepal. So well done Ambleside.
