Dates from Cairo

We brought those back from Cairo with us and they're so delicious! Almost gone now though! I always think of my Egyptian friends this month, who are celebrating Ramadan and fasting from dawn to sunset. A friend there told me that they soak them in milk and then drink the milk as a high protein drink to break the fast.
