Water Boatman

Had a stroll around Stover Park today - not a lot of  animals or bird life apart from a few robins, blue tits and some squirrels near the bird feeder.  There were a few water boatmen on the various lakes - this one tried to hide from the camera but I still 'got' it!  So tiny - about a cm across. 
It started to rain briefly after this shot so we high tailed it home.
The extra is a bird in the hand . . . . a very tame robin that came down for a few biscuit crumbs.
