Starlings

Back at work for a three day week. There's a slight breeze and a bit of light rain for the cycle commute to work. Such a difference from the weekend's nice weather.

Very dull clouds dull the scenery. There isn't much colour, even the yellow of the gorse on the Pentland Hills is muted. As I pass a bush, some starlings who are moving through some long grass looking for lunch fly up on to the barbed wire at the top of the fence for the allotments. I manage to get a fairly decent shot before they decide to fly off.

More light rain for the ride home. I'm not complaining as the Bank Holiday weekend is approaching. Dry weather would be nice.
