The Good Ship Brexit

My extended May day bank holiday took me to Todmorden - a town which can never make up its mind whether it's in Yorkshire or Lancashire as the river, which was the old county boundary, runs through the centre of the town.

After mowing the lawns, I set off from home and headed over the hills to Sowerby Bridge and then walked the Rochdale Canal as far as Todmorden. In total just over 22 km (13.7 miles) in a time of four hours. I travelled home by train and bus.

This boat was lying in the canal near Mankinholes. Someone had re-named her "Brexit".
