Happy to be outdoors again! Bank Holiday Monday.
Today hubby parked the car at a point which is halfway round our usual route. This meant I could enjoy a 30 minute walk. The goal being a coffee and cake at the local Arts and Crafts complex, which has beautiful views of open fields stretching to the far tree line in the distance.
The fields were full of white daisies, dandelions and cow parsley.
The walk takes us through the Moor Hall Hotel and Golf Course estate, where hubby took the photo.

I revelled in every minute.
We had a large cappuccino each and shared a slice of delicious orange polenta cake. Hubby looked up the recipe when we eventually got back home. He'll be adding it to his repertoire.
A pair of blackbirds are currently reconstructing an old nest in the climbing hydrangea on the porch wall.
It's been quiet in the neighbourhood today, school has a day off for Bank Holiday Monday.
All resumes in the morning.
Extra of cow parsley.
