Puffin!

Rather better weather than yesterday although there was a short shower and brief hail storm just as we were ready to leave the house this morning. Thankfully the rest of the day has been dry and occasionally the sun shined through.

We started our walk through Danes Dyke them followed the headland round as far as North Landing, stopping at Flamborough head where we saw a seal, black oil beetles and a whole variety of seabirds. C was most excited to finally see a puffin!

8.81 miles walked in all. Time for a cuppa, cake and a bit of cycle race watching.
