Another Day, Another Squirrel

Dear Diary,

The sun actually came out, briefly, and it was positively wonderful to feel it on my face.  I think the squirrels enjoyed the break from the soggy too.

Squirrel Nutkin was so perfectly backlit this morning.  We are all anxiously awaiting the flowers to burst forth on Auntie’s tree!  John got a day of painting in and now we are on the homestretch as far as the fence is concerned.  He’ll be back tomorrow and maybe he’ll finish it up.  That would be great.
