The place to go

Where else does one go when it's blowing a gale and rain is forecast - go to Barter Books (or as G calls it Battered Books) of course, along with everyone else it seemed. Love this place. Amazingly though it was Gordon who emerged with a purchase (a big purchase actually) and I walked out without anything - the first time ever. 

Spent the rest of the day watching the waves from the window - at high tide they were amazing - see extra. I took this photo from the garden gate and then hastened back inside. So sunny, but so windy.
