Emily

Yesterday I finished work at lunch time, having booked a half day’s holiday as I came to Lorraine & Richard’s in Northamptonshire for a couple of days. I called at Debbie’s on my way home in the hope of seeing the fox cubs, but there was no sign of them, but she said mornings are best, so I’m going to go back over the weekend.

After a quick lunch, I packed the car and myself and the boys set off on a 3.5 hour journey and arrived at 6.30pm.

This morning we dropped Emily at school and then went for a 6.5 mile doggy walk around a nearby reservoir, stopping for a hot chocolate half way.  It was a lovely walk with lots of birds and there were little fishing boats out on the water.

We went back to Lorraine’s for lunch, and then this afternoon went to see her mum and dad.  The boys have been flat out ever since getting back!

Tonight Jen’s been round for dinner and it was lovely to see her, but as everyone else is working tomorrow, it’s not been a late night.  I’ve just spoken to Alan who’s at LAX waiting for his flight home, and it appears that he’s been given a BMW by Fawad who’s the chairman of the working group Alan’s on!  Long story, and too much to write about tonight, but he has the keys and we can go and collect it from Crawley.

I’m up early tomorrow and heading home first thing so that I can be home about the same time as Alan, so I’m off to sleep now, night night x
