New Ponies on da Block
Brrrr, mother nature has put us back in our place, and cooled us back down with a northerly wind. Mostly cloudy, the odd sunny spells. Showers this morning, wintery showers at lunchtime, and more this evening.
The Croft House Museum is now open for the summer, and I was needed to cover there today. Lit the fire, and soon warmed up. I've had a busy day of visitors, not in numbers, but in questions and all stayed a long while by the fire. Popped by sister-in-law Ruth on my way home, she's fractured her foot, and then popped by Linda Nicholson too. Mam is back from holidays, and she popped by me at teatime. Big walkies with Sammy, but mostly a lazy evening by the fire.
There's a new team arrived in the fields at work today, these ponies. Not sure if they are miniature ponies, or maybe last year's foals. They really were a friendly bunch, and loved getting a few cuddles. I'm sure they will be a hit over the summer months. Taken at the Croft House Museum, South Voe, Boddam.
