Wandering around the Library in OC looking for a blip was not the high point. Nor was cycling home in freezing damp weather when I had neither gloves nor a proper coat. And getting the go ahead on another knee replacement isn't what you would call a high point. But on the other hand, it's the right thing to do at this stage, with my right knee (and indeed my entire right leg) in the shape it's in. It will be a while, but watch this space.
