Had a lovely pre-Christmas lunch with friend S today and swapped gifts and news. She was anxious to hear about yesterday's hospital appointment, and I could tell her that I'm now on the waiting list for the op early in the new year. It's a great relief to have made the decision and have it acted on, rather than being in that wilderness of indecision and fear. Thanks for all the supportive comments yesterday.
