The Holy Isle From Ardscalpsie

Duller start to the day with rain showers forecast for later in the afternoon.
We decided to a drive round the West side of the island with views across to the east of Arran and Holy Isle most of the way. We went past Scalpsie Bay, St Ninian's Bay, stopped at Ettrick Bay for a while, then crossed over the island and got a picninc lunch to take back to the little viewpoint car park above Scalpsie Bay (Ardscalpsie).
Stayed here for quite some time watching the changing light on the water.
