St Ninian's Chapel
Dull with some rain this morning with more rain forecast.
West coast drive again, this time making our way down the track to St Ninian's Bay.
We walked the half mile round the bay then onto the narrow path to see the standing stones and the ruins of St Ninian's Chapel. Previous visitors had formed a cross with white stones and had left Scallop shells.
My extras show the standing stones and the view out to the Holy Isle from the chapel and the view from the chapel across the penisula.
Lunch at the Ettrick Bay cafe then back to our holiday flat stopping at Ardscalpsie to enjoy the views despite the duller day.
