Slow Mover
This European wasp was moving very sluggishly around the kitchen tap, so I grabbed the macro lens.
European wasps were carried to Australia in freight, first arriving in Tasmania in 1959.
By the 70s they were in every state, and they're here to stay.
It's been very hazy today, both in the mountains and Sydney, largely as a result of hazard reduction burns.
Not good for people with asthma, and other breathing problems, but lovely for photography.
