Just checking......

Gail came to speak in the service this morning; to share her testimony of the last year of cancer, treatment and recovery. She graciously acknowledged that these illnesses leave us with many questions, not least that her story isn’t everyone’s story. Not all illness has a happy ending. Friends that we'd  met on holiday in Israel last April joined us. It was then all Gail's symptoms manifest themselves and they have followed her progress through the year with us. My big sis came too. Happy crowd! Lots of chatting and the next date to meet made. We had a roast beef dinner and Beverley made two delicious desserts...a key lime pie and a fresh fruit salad, plus cream. 

Of course we needed to record the day for my journal and the boys obliged. This one was taken without our knowledge. We are of course, checking the "official" photo, as one has to is inclined to.
