Same but different...

What a change in the weather today! Just as forecast. The gardens will benefit but we were back in jumpers and socks.

Zoom Pilates is getting easier. I’ve decided speaker view is best. I don’t always see all the others in the session but do see Maria our teacher much better... of course.

I’ve been making more of these dolls today while D has made a wonderful job of framing my birthday card. We’ll continue tomorrow. Great to be able to do that without other things needing our attention.

Hearing tonight how care and nursing homes are experiencing such high numbers of COVID cases. Really appreciated the care our mum received from the wonderful carers in her home, and we joined in the minutes silence this morning for workers who’ve died.

Today we received the very sad news that D’s sister-in-law died yesterday after many years of living with the aftermath of her stroke. She had made such valiant and admirable strides to rebuild her life, and when she allowed us to visit, we had good times of laughter and memories. D’s brother died 14 years ago and Jill missed him so much. We remember our niece Lucy at this sad time, and Lucy’s husband Den. We love you all.
