Garden visiting day.

Another good day today. My friend Tim and I went down to the island of Seil to visit the garden at An Cala, in Ellenabeich. Perfect timing - it was looking wonderful, with so much in flower. I've added an extra of some white tulips.

After a quick lunch in the local bar we followed this up with a drive to Ardmaddy Castle garden, which was also looking good, though by this time the sun was disappearing into the haze. 

So many familiar plants to remind me of my gardening days!
