Outdone by an 8 year old!

This is one those infuriating wooden puzzles that are impossible to solve...or so we thought. It was given to Frank a couple of years ago and I tipped all the bars and pegs out thinking I would soon have it all back in place.
WRONG!
Neither of us could do it nor anyone else we challenged.
Last year though, relatives visited us on the boat and Frank's 8 year old great nephew - Omar - was fascinated by the puzzle. We let him take it home to play with. We heard later that night that he had solved it! Clever lad!
Frank's sister, Eileen brought the intact puzzle back to us today. I'm not going to touch it!
