.....lovely Auriculas today but......as you can see from the extra I've managed to almost destroy their beautiful blooms.  I put them in the greenhouse, cold and on the floor, to protect them from the gales but it obviously wasn't a good thing to do.  I'm more than upset as I was so pleased with them.  No one's fault bar my own ignorance.

I took a shot of a poppy (Californian I think) which is just about to open Instead.  Lovely colour, particularly against the forget-me-nots but I'm mourning my Auriculas. 

It's been very windy here but sunny and cold.
