S has a trip to the Seaside

After attending Easter Morning Service at St Leonard’s we pick up S from his student residence and head up to Arbroath to have a Smokie and Chip Lunch.

After a very successful lunch we walk around Arbroath Abbey and see the circular window Robert Stevenson and his construction crew restored when weather was too poor to work on the Lighthouse. (extra)

S finally saw the sea and beach at Auchmithie and marvelled at the access road to the harbour.

A fabulous sunny day. Hopefully the first of many sunny days.
