Our first full day back in London brought us delightful visitors. Early on Tim’s younger daughter brought us Ember, a dog from another family member to look after for a few hours. Ember’s about a year old black Labrador and a truly lovely dog. We had a great time with her and enjoyed lunch with Tim’s daughter when she came to pick up the dog.

In the evening Tim cooked a delicious meal for an old Canadian friend of mine who was staying in the UK and who flies home tomorrow. It was a chatty evening of catching up. It was so much nicer being at home than in a noisy restaurant.
