Sunny Intervals...

David, Kenny and Kenny's friend Stephen were playing golf at Callander today and had been expecting a very wet round, but much to their surprise it stayed dry and there were even some sunny intervals.  

I came downstairs this morning and when I walked into the kitchen a little sunbeam was hitting the vase of flowers on the kitchen table so blip sorted.

Today has been a day of calm before tomorrow's storm when the mad gang arrive for our annual get together.  I have used my time wisely and prepared as much as possible in advance.  The side of salmon has been cooked, all the salad vegetables and fruit are prepared, new potatoes cooked ready to turn into potato salad, and a pavlova is cooling in the oven.
