A congregation of crows

After all that rain, I decided to go out and see what was going on in my garden, before I set off on my journey to Southampton.

Wet primroses. Some new growth in the borders. A couple of crazily brave magnolia buds.

But I was interrupted by a huge noise coming from trees down the road. This crazy collection of crows were clearly having an argument. Noisy crowd - is that why we call them a "congregation" ?
