The Blue Forest

What started out as a very grey and wet morning, turned out to be a lovely, sunny afternoon, and I was very pleased about that as I was due to meet Chloe at Sheffield Park to go in search of the bluebells.  

The gardens were absolutely stunning with all the rhododendrons and azaleas in bloom, but we spent most of the time in the woods.  There were so many bluebells, there was just a blue haze and the smell was amazing!   

Before heading home, we went to the tea room and had a hot chocolate (for me) and a coffee sat in the garden.  It's been a lovely afternoon and was nice to catch up with Chloe.

Tonight  Alan's been to the rifle range and I've been to Zumba with Alison. Another busy, but nice day :-)
