Life's definitely not a drag
when you are treated to entertainment like this.
This is a Backblip
It was Dai's leaving do this evening - I didn't get home till after 1a.m....I was not blipping at that time!
It had been an emotional day with silliness, tears, poems, speeches and quite possibly the best staff video that has ever been produced at our place. I have not laughed as hard as I did at lunchtime when I saw it.
So I was dreading the do a little, as saying farewell is never easy.
However, I was priviledged to be able to distract myself by being allowed to photograph our performer getting ready in his room and then doing his performance. I thoroughly enjoyed it - I wonder whether one or two might have found it a little close to the bone, but as far as I was concerned, I loved every minute.
Dai was able to keep it together, I am not sure how, and a pretty wild night ensued which was a fitting way to send him off to retirement.
I danced so much that it hurt this morning when I awoke. Despite not drinking alcohol all night, I still had a hangover this morning. It's taken all day to function properly.
