Garden sculpture

At the Craft and Wood Fair at the weekend, my friend also bought things. She bought a wooden guitar sculpture for her husband (see extra) and this metal and wood sculpture to put close to their garden pond. 
The Bulrushes are made of turned wood, their stems are copper and the leaves steel. This one is new and shiny but over time the wood will age and darken, the stems will go green and the leaves will rust. The stall had examples for sale at all stages of maturity and all were lovely - but she chose the newest one because their pond is new so the whole area will mature together and change appearance in the coming years.
