They have to go

I hate parting with books, but today I steeled myself to get rid of some. I have several bookcases, all full to bursting, and still more books piled  up on tables, chests of drawers and the floor. I have no room for more bookcases so there was nothing for it but to weed out some. A few weeks ago I took some to the second hand bookshop at Oxburgh but today's trolley load went to the public library. They either put them into their lending stock, put them on their 'for sale' shelves or, as a last resort, send them for pulping which also earns them money. 
There still isn't enough room though - further weeding is needed!
