Winter Walkway

Since being tipped off here in Blipland that Fuji had released a firmware upgrade for the x10 and having installed it, I am now playing with the possibilities. There isn't anything new or outstanding which couldn't be done in Photoshop but it's fun at times, to have some of the stuff at your fingertips.

And so on another horribly grey dull day I took a walk at lunchtime and tried out 3 or 4 of the new gizmos. This one is called "Dynamic Tone". It worked pretty ok for this shot but it wasn't good where trees cut across the bland grey sky. Far too much halo for my taste, but like I said, fun to play with.
